McGraw-Hill Takeaway TV Graphics

Over a year in the making, we’ve finally completed the 60 episode English language learning series for the renowned publishing house, McGraw-Hill. Below is a short sample of the motion graphics package (intro, lower third, OTS, bug and background) that I created for the series.

I threw together a quick little intro for reddit’s “ask me anything” video series. I had originally planned on something a little more involved, but we’ve been swamped with McGraw Hill (should have some examples of the final motion graphics work for that project soon). So anyway, I put this together for them in the meantime (FYI, though I tend to do my own, the sound design was not mine in this case).

I threw together a quick mograph piece for a pilot video we created for Fender Guitars Spain. Created in Cinema 4D, with the logo and other effects composited in After Effects.

Videmic Promo

Here’s the intro graphics/promo for the new show we are producing with Karina Stenquist (formerly of Mobuzz fame) called Videmic. The show will be all about what is what in the web TV and viral video world. The show itself will be launching some time in November early 2010 and will be regularly featured on Black Book Magazine’s website.

Just a little update since it’s been a while. Nothing motion graphics related to report on at the moment but should have something to show after we wrap up our McGraw Hill project in the next month or so. In the meantime here’s a little something we put together for Rolling Stone Magazine (Spain) featuring the Zodiacs.

48 Hours - Madrid

Haven’t had a lot to update on recently. We finished a series of Madrid travel videos for a soon to be launched travel site called Ultimate Quest TV. Not much in the way of motion graphics, but something to share all the same.

Chugging along with a project for McGraw Hill now, hopefully I’ll have some new motion design work to share from that at some stage. Hasta entonces!

El Entierro de la sardina…

The burial of the sardine took place not long ago and here’s a little something we threw together last week about it. Figured I’d share since it features some new motion graphics (it’s been a while).

Currently working on a three part travel series about Madrid for Ultimate Quest TV (a new site collecting travel video content before launching). Not sure to what extent I’ll be doing any graphics for those pieces, but I’ll probably post them here if I do anything interesting.

Update: Just found out this little video (that was really only supposed to be a portolio example) has been featured on Gadling.com (owned by AOL, the #2 travel blog on the net). Check it out here.

A New Year needs a new post (finally)! Just got back from Germany (with stops in Austria and Czech Republic as well) and I’ve got some new photos on the way but I’ve only uploaded one so far (head to the still section to see it full size). Lots of work and projects on the table so I’m sure there will be some new motion graphics related posts here soon.
